Huck and Jim's relationship.

Some of the most important events about the relationship between Huck and Jim is when they found each other escaping from their problems because that was when they united and swore to help each other escape and find a new home. At first Huck was in doubt for helping Jim escape because it was against the law for slaves to run away, and if they got aid on it those who helped would face serious consequences. As I read more into the story, Huck seemed to realize how miserable the life of a slave is when he sees Jim get into trouble and sees him being mistreated and forced to work. What made Huck continue on his adventure on helping Jim escape is that he was the only friend Jim ever had. :)
